Multi‑Character AI Chat

Multi‑Character AI Chat

One message. More than one reaction.

Chat with multiple AI characters in one story on Plotto. Choose a role and explore the cast’s relationships. Basic story‑room chat is free; other actions may cost coins.

  1. Multiple AI characters together
  2. Basic story chat: free, no message limit
  3. Reactions that cross relationships

01

How to start a multi‑character conversation

Read the premise and cast, then sign in and choose an eligible role for yourself. Assign AI roles or leave vacancies, review joining settings and any creation cost, then create the room. Read its opening and send one question or action to begin.

Conversation example: Ask the detective about a clue while the witness is present. Their different knowledge can lead to different responses; the example does not promise that every character replies to every message.

02

Your attention can stir the whole group.

Get closer to one character and discover how others react. A compliment, a question or an unexpected confession can open a different side of the relationships around you.

03

Keep the story going for free.

Basic multi‑character AI chat inside story rooms is free with no message limit. Room creation or renewal, standalone character chat, paid models and extra features may cost coins or require payment. Daily check‑in rewards must be claimed; check the current amount and any price shown before confirming an action.

04

Different motives. One shared world.

The story gives everyone a setting, background and place in the situation. A guarded ally and an outspoken rival can read the same event differently, giving you more perspectives to explore.

05

Bring a friend into the conversation.

Story characters can be assigned to AI or real people. Invite friends to join, choose available characters and discover how their choices interact with yours and the AI responses.

Multi‑Character AI Chat · Frequently asked questions

What makes multi‑character AI chat different?

Several AI characters participate in the same story and can respond to each other. The interaction includes relationships across the group, alongside each character’s connection with you.

Do all characters reply to every message?

Replies follow the story situation and conversation. Different characters can contribute as the scene develops; you do not need every character to speak after every message.

How are stories different from AI characters?

A standalone character is a one‑on‑one chat partner. A story provides a shared world and several roles; you choose your role and create a room to play. Each room has its own conversations and progress. AI plays assigned roles, while friends can join eligible vacant roles when the room allows it.

Which AI chats are free?

Basic multi‑character AI chat inside story rooms is free with no message limit. Room creation or renewal, standalone character chat, paid models and extra features may cost coins or require payment. Daily check‑in rewards must be claimed; check the current amount and any price shown before confirming an action.

Can my friends join the same story?

Yes—join the same story room to share its progress. When creating a room, choose your role, assign AI roles and leave roles open for friends. Check whether joining is allowed directly, requires approval or is disabled, then share the room. Friends can take eligible vacant roles; opening the same story separately creates a different experience.

Can AI characters reply with images or voice?

AI characters can reply with images, and supported message controls let you hear AI text read aloud. Available tools and their costs depend on the client and feature you use. Reading a message aloud is not a live AI voice call; community voice rooms are a separate social feature.
